Harpsden

The village of Harpsden is a mile and a half from the River Thames and the county boundary and a mile or so south of Henley-on-Thames

The parish of Harpsden includes several nearby hamlets including Harpsden Bottom. A quarter of a mile to the west of the village is the hamlet of Harpsden Bottom. Between and to the south of Harpsden and Harpsden Bottom is an area of open-access woodland known as Harpsden Woods.

About half a mile to the east of Harpsden is Harpsden Court - a red brick country house with rough cast render to the front. The house is thought to be C17 with some C18 and C19 alterations. The house has an impressive mid-C19 stone entrance gateway with curved walls to either side.

Near Harpsden Court is St Margaret's Church which dates from the C12.
