North Moreton

Noth Moreton is an attractive quiet village in the south of the county off the main road between Wallingford and Didcot. It is separated from South Moreton to the south by the main railway line from Paddington to the South-West. Many of the houses in the village date from the 15th and 16th centuries, despite a fire in 1807 which destroyed one side of the main street. To the north across the fields are the Sinodun Hills, topped by the Wittenham Clumps, which provide fine views of the River Thames and the Oxfordshire landscape.

In the village, the Church of All Saints dates from the 14th century, with some parts dating from the 13th century. The font is 12th century.
