Drayton

Drayton is a village that has seen a lot of 20th century development, but enough of the old village remains for part of Drayton to be still attractive. It lies on the B4017 about 3 miles south of Abingdon and 2 miles west of Sutton Courtenay.

The older part of the village is centred on the church, along the road into the village from Sutton Courtenay, High Street, and around the junction of High street and Abingdon Road.

The Church of St. Peter is a medieval Church tucked away from the main road in Church Lane.

In the centre of the village are two pubs, a post office and general store and a hardware shop.
