LITTLEWORTH

Littleworth is a pleasant quiet little village situated on the hilly ridge known as the Midvale Ridge.

The parish church is the Church of the Holy Ascension which was consecrated in 1839, and consists of a chancel with north organ chamber, and nave of four bays with a west porch. It is built of stone in the style of the 13th century. There are three lancets in the east wall, and a gabled bellcote containing one bell on the west gable.

Littleworth is about 2 miles east of Faringdon, on a quiet lane just off the A420 Oxford to Swindon road.
